What to Expect...

Your first visit would typically be a free consultation. At this half hour visit, you will meet with the doctor and discuss if spinal decompression is the treatment of choice for you. As well, Dr. Deltoff will discuss how the Antalgic-Trak works and its features. If you have any pertinent information to your condition, for example x-rays or CT / MRI reports, this is the best time to bring them.

If yours is a condition that can benefit from Antalgic-Trak decompression, you may book your full consultation. At this visit you will initially fill out some paperwork and questionnaires. Dr. Deltoff will take a complete history of your condition and perform an orthopaedic, neurological and chiropractic examination. As well, a dynamic surface electromyograph will be performed. This test involves placing electrodes on the skin and ‘reading’ the muscles as they move through various ranges of motion. This is a non-invasive test and there is no sensation.

Treatments will consist of 45 minute sessions. This involves setup and 20 minutes of treatment time.  Other modalities, such as the Impulse IQ, may be incorporated into your treatment regimen.

Please note that an assistant or technician does not perform the consults or treatments. You will be seeing the doctor throughout your visits. Service is performed on a pay-as-you-go basis or discounts may be applied with a pre-paid program.
